SIGN UP TO BE A PAID COURSEWORKER
WORK A SHIFT AND GET A CHECK, A T-SHIRT AND LUNCH ON US
Grassroots Motorsports is currently hiring autocross volunteers for the Grassroots Motorsports Challenge!
Volunteer Compensation:
Each half-day shift will pay $50, and course workers will also receive a free event T-shirt, lunch, and free spectator access to the evening’s drag racing. They’ll also receive the gratitude of our competitors and attendees, and they’ll see the autocross from the best viewing area possible: the middle of the course! Sign up for both shifts and you’ll get paid $100 for the day.
(Volunteers who choose to race in the autocross may only run for exhibition due to changing course conditions. FSAE volunteers are not eligible for payment, T-shirt or lunch, as they are working in exchange for their team’s track time)

Volunteer Breaks:
We’ll have two relief workers rotating through each position to give workers short breaks for water, restrooms, etc. Plan on working about 1.5 hours between short breaks.
Volunteer Tasks:
Workers will be standing near the autocross course in the parking lot of Gainesville Raceway. When cars hit cones, they’ll walk onto the course to reset the cones and use a radio to alert timing & scoring. Workers must be 18 years of age or older, and must be able to move themselves around, pick up cones, and maintain awareness of their surroundings.
Volunteer Signup:
We’ll need plenty of workers to make this event a success, and spots are still available. Workers must sign up in advance at the MotorsportReg link below:
